in 1991...
I
packed in my life in civil engineering and after hitch hiking
around Africa and Australia, went to night school to further my
hobby - photography. In 1993 I turned full time professional &
have evolved from there. I have tried & tested new
products for Hassleblad & Kodak, given talks and seminars
on photography and people to colleges and organisations.

in 2000...
I was sponsored by FujiFilm and others to go to Romania to document
the positive impact of aid from the west on street kids and orphans.
The resulting exhibition entitled 'New Life' has travelled around
the country and been hosted by the Romanian Ambassador in London,
The Royal Photographic Society and The Master Photographer of
the Year Awards. The project was covered by the press, TV and
radio. The images are still being syndicated world wide and have
been used by USAID, The Department for Foreign Investment, The
World Population Institute and others.
Then I met Jayne....
in 1983...
I started my first job as a News Producer in Radio, and within
a year had moved to TV. More than twenty years later (and four
children!) I work part of the year as a senior broadcast TV producer
and the rest with Mike in photography and video, whether it's
for weddings, PR or corporate
Since working together, we've been making a
documentary to revisit those who featured in 'New Life' exhibition
and find out what's happened to the people, and to Romania itself,
over the last 4 years. Filming is now complete and cutting the
film is underway.
We've also made an Arts documentary on building custom motorcycles
for ITV regions, broadcast in April 03. We've both worked on two
series of 'Who do you think you are?' for BBC TV's UK Style channel.
We've another Arts documentary in the pipe line about the visual
aspect of food.
The TV work has given us the perfect experience for a unique style
of wedding and corporate video. A recent job was filming a multi-million
property development in Portugal. Visit the TV & Video section
for more information.
In our spare time we ride motorcycles, have fun with the kids,
Jayne pursues her passion for developing houses, and we read and
dream about travelling some more. We're both into personal development
and have a fantastic personal and professional relationship based
on always being completely honest wtih each other (even when we
don't want to!) We both love France and plan to increasingly divide
our time living and working between France and the UK .
.We're privileged to specialise in working with
people and consider ourselves pretty lucky to be working together,
doing such fun and creative jobs!

This year we've started a new company called
Picture This. Whilst we'll always be available and personal with
our wedding clients, we needed a new image for our commercial
ones. The new site is viewable here
or click 'commercial' in the main menu.
